Teaching the art of Calligraphy

The aim of the blog: To teach your child an Art which can be a help for them to improve their handwriting. Fetch more marks while you fetch an art.

‘Calligraphy is not all about Pen, you need to grab the right paper too’

To start with Calligraphy, you need to be familiar with few basic skills. It demands you to understand the ‘Think and Thin’ effect which can please the eyes. The continuous patterns and the strokes used can make the text look incredible. The art of Calligraphy should be taught in schools to give power to the words of a child.

Choosing the Right Way

Brush pen, Fountain pen or a Dip pen; whichever you are using, Make sure you are using it the right way. The flat and broad nip should be kept at a constant angle. It should be kept horizontally against the paper at an angle of 30-45 degrees. Don’t stress the pen; it is there to flow smoothly.

Ascending line, Waistline Baseline and the descending line forms the base to understand the Calligraphy Script. When you learn the art of marking strokes from topmost line to the bottom line, the work is half done. A lot of practice and patience will help you learn different kinds of strokes like downward stroke, basic curves, diagonal lines etc. Thereafter; you can start practising word writing. For example, to write a small letter ‘a’, you should start with a downward stroke from waistline to bottom line.

The calligraphy art is an expression which lets come up with your own style. It is versatile, dynamic and easy to learn.  This way you are able to find peace when there is chaos around because it is therapeutic and meditative.

Tip: Choosing the right paper is one of the most important tasks. A good quality paper doesn’t make the text bleed or blurry.
So, get immersed you to this beautiful form of writing which can make things look not better but the Best.
